AJAX Call Using jQuery in CakePHP

his past year I finally did a small project in CakePHP. The place I work needed a Sales Quotation system and I was thinking about developing everything in pure PHP with MySQL as the back end database. However, I have been looking at the CakePHP site for quite some time and thought that this would be a perfect project to test the limits of this hugely successful Content Management System.
